Q: Can I have someone else other than the legal guardian or parent; register my child for a program?
A: No, the legal guardian or parent must sign the waiver form.
A: Most activities or programs have a start date on the flyer. Leagues such as soccer, basketball and baseball will require registration to fill and teams will then be divided and your child will receive a call from his/her coach. Please be sure to read the flyer for specific start dates and “Meet the coach night” dates. Sports camps will have a date on the flyer. If you are unsure as to when the program or activity begins, be sure to ask when registering or call the recreation center. Be sure to read all flyers completely.
A: Yes, but for Berwyn Community Organizations only. We do not allow pool
rentals for a private party.
A: Baby bottles are allowed. No outside food or beverages allowed past the front door. Vending machines are in the lobby but anything purchased must be consumed before entering the front door. There is a concession stand located near the pool. All food and beverages must be consumed in the concession area.
A: Sorry, no coolers allowed past the front door.
A: No, pool toys are not allowed in the pool. No floatation devices allowed in the pool. Bathing suits with built in floatation devices are not allowed!
A: No, a lined bathing suit is required to swim in the pool. No gym or basketball shorts allowed. Please see pool rules for more information.
A: current driver’s license or state I.D. with your current Berwyn address on the I.D. will be accepted as proof of residency. Each parent must bring in their own identification. Children with different last name than parent must bring in a birth certificate or school report card.
A: To receive the Berwyn rate, adults 18 and over must bring in a valid state I.D. or drivers license with current Berwyn address. Young adults 16 to 17 can provide the same or a current Morton West High School I.D. Teens under the age of 16 must provide an I.D. from school, state I.D., library card or school report card in order to enter at a resident rate. All identification must be current. Mail from the home will not be accepted as proof of residency.
A: No, family pool passes are restricted to members of the immediate family residing at the same address. A family pass consists of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 adults and any children 17 years of age and under.
A: Adults that are ages 18 to 22 years old must be full time students (poof required).
