A: Yes. All requests will be considered but not guaranteed. If the program requires a draft the request is not possible.

A: There are NO REFUNDS. If it is a medical condition which requires a doctor’s note and the condition requires the child to avoid the activity a credit toward another program will be issued and is valid for a year.
A: Most activities and programs have a start date listed on the flyer. For leagues such as soccer, basketball, and baseball, registration must first be completed. Once teams are formed, your child will receive a call from his or her coach with additional information. Please be sure to read the flyer carefully for specific start dates and any scheduled “Meet the Coach Night” dates. Sports programs will also list their start date on the flyer. If you are unsure when a program or activity begins, please contact the recreation center.
A: Yes, but for Berwyn Community Organizations only. We do not allow pool rentals for a private party.
A: Baby bottles are allowed. ABSOLUTLEY NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES WILL BE ALLOWED PAST THE GATE ENTRANCE UPON ENTRY! Anyone getting caught violating this rule will be asked to leave without a refund. If this behavior continues, the individual or persons will be banned from entry.
A: Sorry, no coolers allowed past the front door.
A: Floatation devices are allowed in the pool for children but must be LABELED – COAST GUARD APPROVED! FLOATION BATHING SUITS & ARM SWIMMERS ARE NOT ALLOWED!
A: NO ATHELTIC, SPANDEX OR CUT-OFF SHORTS ALLOWED! A LINED BATHING SUIT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER. If patron is not wearing a bathing suit upon entry, the pool door staff reserves the right to request the lined bathing suit before entry. A white t-shirt or swim pool shirt can be worn in the pool. ADDITIONAL POOL RULES APPLY!
A: NO The pool has plenty of chairs for everyone!   Mayor Lovero & other patrons have donated chairs & lounger for the patrons.
A: Valid D. L. w/Berwyn address – I.D.’s cannot be shared, each person must present their own I.D. Valid Illinois State I.D. w/Berwyn address Morton West H.S. I.D. w/photo (East Campus I.D.’s will not be accepted) Local grade school I.D. w/photo Parents bringing in children 14 years & under may present their I.D. for their children (adults have to each have their own I.D.) Non-Berwyn Patrons must pay the fee in exact cash to enter the pool area.
A: Yes, the dates for the start of programs are subject to change based on enrollment for the specific program.
A: Yes, a combination or key lock.  THE BERWYN RECREATION CENTER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCKERS BEING USED BY PATRONS, LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS OR LOCK KEYS LOST OR STOLEN.
A: CHILDREN AGES 10 & UNDER MAY ENTER WITH AN ADULT 18+ WHO PRESENTS A VALID.
A: RATIO: 3 CHILDREN UNDER AGE OF 10 YEARS OLD ALLOWED PER ADULT 18+ YEARS OLD. Adults must supervise children at all times including: In the pool In the locker rooms and bathrooms Lifeguards are trained for emergencies only – they do not supervise children.
